PRE-CAST REFRACTORY SECTIONS:
Pre-cast refractory components of all types have been included in a number
of the design and construction projects of Gillespie + Powers, Inc. These
projects have included not only pre-cast sections around the doors including
jambs, sills, and lintels, but also have included entire furnaces
constructed of the big block type of construction. These projects have
included a variety of refractory materials as well as the heavily wire
reinforced sections specifically developed by Gillespie + Powers, Inc. or
those that are commercially available.
